Ferrari fans have long claimed their team is singled out by the FIA. The governing body's own scrutiny data offers something for both sides of that argument. Through the first nine rounds of 2026, every car checked was found fully compliant. But the volume differs. Ferrari's SF-26s were subjected to 27 distinct types of check, 61 individual targeted checks in total through the British Grand Prix, with the heaviest scrutiny in Canada, twelve checks tied to active-aero transition timing and power-unit software tracking. Mercedes' W17s saw 23 types for a total of 56, with only Russell's Australian car getting a full post-race teardown. The twist: the article flags that the FIA has repeatedly not published the Post Race Checks document for Mercedes, something that also happened in prior seasons. πΈπ° via Formula1.IT #F1 #Ferrari #Mercedes #FIA
